With the latest version of pCloud Drive for Linux, you can access common pCloud actions directly from your file manager's right-click (context) menu.
Supported file managers include:
- Nautilus
- Dolphin
- Nemo
- Caja
- Thunar
Available actions
Create a shareable link
Right-click a file or folder stored in pCloud Drive and select the pCloud option to create a shareable link.
You can also select multiple files and folders and generate a single share link for the selected items (if supported by your setup).
Upload files and folders
Right-click files or folders stored on your computer and upload them directly to a folder in your pCloud account without opening the desktop application.
After choosing Upload to pCloud, select the destination folder in your account and start the upload.

Enable the pCloud context menu on Linux
To enable pCloud actions in your Linux file manager:
- Open pCloud Drive.
- Go to Settings > General.
- Turn on Show context menu.
Once enabled, you'll be able to right-click files and folders to access pCloud actions, such as creating shareable links or uploading content directly from your file manager.
Note: The context menu integration is available only with supported file managers: Nautilus, Dolphin, Nemo, Caja, and Thunar.
If no supported file manager is installed on your system, pCloud will prompt you to install one when you enable Show context menu. Follow the on-screen installation steps. Once the installation is complete, the context menu integration is enabled automatically, and you can start using pCloud actions from the right-click menu immediately.
