Upgrading, Downgrading, and Canceling Plans
Learn how to upgrade your plan, cancel subscriptions, and manage billing for your pCloud account.
Flexible Management: You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your pCloud subscription at any time to match your storage needs.
Upgrading Your Plan
Same Billing Frequency
When upgrading to a plan with the same billing frequency (e.g., monthly to monthly):
- Your billing date won't change
- You'll be charged a prorated amount immediately for the rest of the current billing period
- Your payment will be adjusted proportionally to avoid surcharges
Example: If you have pCloud Premium (monthly) and upgrade to pCloud Premium Plus (monthly), you'll pay the difference for the remaining days of the month.
Different Billing Frequency
When upgrading to a plan with different billing frequency (e.g., monthly to annual):
- You'll be billed at the new interval starting on the day of the change
- You'll be charged a prorated amount immediately for the rest of the current period
- Your payment will be adjusted proportionally to avoid surcharges
Example: If you have pCloud Premium (monthly) and upgrade to pCloud Premium Plus (annual), you'll be billed annually starting from the upgrade date.
Upgrading to Lifetime
You can upgrade from monthly/annual subscriptions to Lifetime at any time. However:
- It is NOT possible to deduct your subscription payment from the Lifetime plan price
Adding Storage to Lifetime
Yes, you can add more storage to your existing Lifetime account:
- You pay the full price for the new plan
- The new storage quota is added on top of your existing plan
Example: If you have 500 GB Lifetime and purchase 2 TB Lifetime, you'll have 2.5 TB total storage.
