Managing Billing Information

Keeping your billing information up to date ensures you receive accurate invoices and can manage your subscription without interruption. This guide covers how to manage billing details for both Individual and Business accounts.

Individual and Family Plans

Your Individual account billing information includes personal or company details used for invoice generation.

Updating Invoice Information

  1. Log into https://my.pcloud.com/
  2. Click on your Account avatar in the top-right corner
  3. Navigate to Settings > Payment History
  4. Click "Update My Invoice Information"
  5. Choose between Company or Person
  6. Fill in the required fields
  7. Save your changes

Invoice Information Fields

For Personal Invoices:

  • Full Name
  • Address
  • City
  • Postal Code
  • Country

For Company Invoices:

  • Company Name
  • VAT Number (if applicable)
  • Company Address
  • City
  • Postal Code
  • Country

Important: Changes to invoice information only affect future invoices. You cannot retroactively modify invoices that have already been generated.

Business Plan

Business accounts have more comprehensive billing management options and permission levels.

Updating Business Invoice Information

  1. Log in to my.pcloud.com
  2. Click on your email address in the top-left corner
  3. Select Business from the menu
  4. Go to the Billing tab
  5. In the "Invoice details" section, click "Update details"
  6. Modify your company information
  7. Save your changes

Updating Company Information

To modify general company details:

  1. Sign in to your pCloud Business admin account
  2. Click "Business" in the sidebar menu
  3. Select "Account"
  4. Click "Update Company Info"
  5. Modify your company details
  6. Click "Save" to finalize

Managing Payment Methods

Keep your payment methods current to avoid subscription interruptions:

Updating Payment Cards

  1. Go to https://www.pcloud.com/manage-subscriptions.html
  2. Log in to your account
  3. Locate your active subscription
  4. Click "Update Payment Method"
  5. Enter your new payment card details
  6. Confirm the update

Security Note: pCloud does not store your credit card details directly. Payment processing is handled by trusted third-party payment processors who securely store card information for subscription renewals.

Changing from PayPal to Credit Card (or vice versa)

To switch payment methods:

  1. Access Manage Subscriptions
  2. Cancel your current subscription
  3. Wait for the current period to end
  4. Re-subscribe using your preferred payment method

Managing Business Subscription Settings

Business accounts have additional management options:

Changing Billing Frequency

To switch between monthly and annual billing:

  1. Go to Business > Billing
  2. If on monthly: Click "Upgrade to Annual and Save 20%"
  3. If on annual: Look for the option to switch to monthly billing
  4. Confirm the change

Managing User Quota

To adjust the number of users in your Business account:

  1. Navigate to Business > Billing
  2. Click "Manage User Quota"
  3. Select the desired number of users
  4. Review the pricing changes
  5. Confirm the update

Note: Each additional user slot provides an extra terabyte of storage space for your Business account.

Canceling Subscriptions

Manage your subscription status through billing settings:

For Individual Plans

  1. Go to Manage Subscriptions
  2. Find your active subscription
  3. Click "Cancel"
  4. Confirm the cancellation

For Business Plans

  1. Log into my.pcloud.com
  2. Go to Business > Billing
  3. Click "Cancel subscription"
  4. Follow the confirmation steps

Account Owner Only: Only the Business account owner can cancel the Business subscription. Users with Billing Management permissions cannot perform this action.

What Happens When Payment Stops

For Individual Plans

  • Account continues until the end of the paid period
  • At the next billing date, account reverts to Free Basic plan
  • Access to Premium features is lost
  • Files remain accessible but with Free plan limitations

For Business Plans

  • Account becomes frozen after payment failure
  • Access is unavailable until payment is made
  • 72-hour grace period may be provided to make payment
  • Use the "Pay now" button in Billing to restore access
