The pCloud Affiliate Program enables you to earn monetary commissions by promoting pCloud services. As an affiliate, you can share unique affiliate links and earn money when people sign up for paid pCloud plans through your links.
Note: The affiliate program is completely free to join and requires no upfront costs. You can register for an affiliate account at absolutely no charge.
Getting Started
Requirements to Become an Affiliate
To join the pCloud Affiliate Program, you need to meet these simple requirements:
- You must be at least 18 years old to register for the program
- Registration is completely free - there are no joining fees or costs
- Sign up at the pCloud affiliate page: https://www.pcloud.com/affiliate.html
- Configure your PayPal account in your affiliate settings at https://partner.pcloud.com
Commission Structure
Receive 20% of the referee's ongoing monthly payments as long as their subscription remains active
Payment Schedule
Understanding when you'll receive your commissions:
- Commissions are paid monthly around the 16th of each month
- Payments are issued no earlier than 45 days after a successful referral
- You must configure your PayPal account at https://partner.pcloud.com under Account Settings
Payout Methods and Minimums
Commission payments can be received through two methods:
- PayPal: Minimum payout threshold is $10 USD
- Bank Wire Transfer: Minimum payout threshold is $500 USD
Earning Potential
There is no limit to the amount of money you can earn through the affiliate program. You can continue referring customers and earning commissions indefinitely.
Affiliate Link Tracking
How Cookies Work
pCloud uses affiliate link cookies that are stored for 45 days to ensure you get paid for every referral:
- When a client comes to the pCloud site through your affiliate link, a cookie is placed on their browser
- If the client closes their browser and returns directly to pCloud within 45 days to open an account, the cookie links them to your affiliate account
- This ensures you receive credit for the referral even if they don't sign up immediately
Troubleshooting Commissions
Why You Might Not Receive a Commission
If you referred a customer but haven't received a commission, there are three possible reasons:
- Refunded Subscription: The client created a paid pCloud account but canceled it within the cancellation period and received a refund
- Untracked Referral: The client did not come through your affiliate link, so the system didn't track them as your referral
- Payment Processing Time: The client made their first payment less than 45 days ago - commissions are paid 45 days after a successful referral
Paid Advertising Guidelines
Advertising Your Affiliate Link
You can use paid advertising to promote your pCloud affiliate link, but certain restrictions apply:
- You cannot place PPC bids on any pCloud trademarks, including variations, misspellings, and combinations (e.g., "pCloud coupons")
- You cannot outrank pCloud's internal paid search ad on any keywords
- You cannot use www.pcloud.com as a display URL
- Any ads you publish must represent active and valid pCloud promotions
Email Marketing
If you want to promote pCloud via email, you can use promotional banners:
- Find promotional banners in your affiliate account dashboard at https://partner.pcloud.com
- Download the banner image and insert it into your email
- Include your unique affiliate link with the banner to track referrals
Reseller Program
How the Reseller Program Works
The pCloud reseller program is a more advanced option for businesses:
- Resellers offer and sell pCloud premium subscription plans at their point of sale
- Resellers are responsible for collecting payments from customers
- Resellers can generate discounted voucher codes for instant activation of premium pCloud accounts
- Resellers can set their own prices for all available plans
Requirements to Become a Reseller
To qualify as a reseller, you must meet these criteria:
- Have your own sales point (website, network, blog, or online business)
- Have the ability to collect payments from customers
- Make an initial purchase of at least $50 USD to load your reseller account
- Generate monthly sales of at least $100 USD
Reseller Discounts
Reseller discounts are based on the monthly amount of sales.
